Visiting the hospital...

to see the most handsome doctor there! My mom was in town visiting, and wanted to see where Aaron was working; so we went to have lunch with him at the hospital. While on the tour of the Ortho dept, we visited the flouroscope (it's like an x ray machine - but I don't really know the difference). Here is Audrey's foot. Note that her bones are not meeting yet!

And here is Al's hand. Like Audrey's foot, there is still some room to grow!

Calling All Arizonans...

One of the other doctors in the Ortho department (a 3rd year) is headed to Phoenix Children's for 6 months, to study pediatric orthopedic surgery. She asked me a while ago, "What is there to do in Phoenix?" I piped up quickly with, "A LOT more than in El Paso!" :)
This is what I have so far; please comment and let me know what else to tell her. I'll update this post with your comments, and hopefully, she'll stay busy in the Valley of the Sun!

Ben and Al circa Feb. 2006. Alex had bad eczema and her face is roughed up. Still sweet, though.
